Emma Martelock's PledgePage

Emma Martelock was born on July 3rd. Proud parents Gwen and Eric were so happy. At just one day old, she was diagnosed with a rare condition called Jejunum Atresia. She was taken from her parents and rushed to Boston Children’s Hospital for surgery. She had major intestinal surgery at just days old and has been in the hospital since. Gwen and Eric have been traveling back and forth to Boston to see their new baby everyday. Doctors don’t know when she will be able to come home.

We are organizing several fund raisers for Gwen and Eric to help ease the burden of the growing list of expenses. The first fund raising event we would like to announce is Sean Nolan, proud uncle of Emma, will be running in the Falmouth Road Race on Aug. 14th. The 7 mile race starts in Woods Hole and ends in Falmouth. Sean is requesting sponsorship; any donations collected will be applied directly to the Emma Martelock Fund. We are asking friends and family and anyone who would like, to sponsor Sean in this race. You can sponsor per mile or just make a contribution to the fund. Please bookmark our site for any additional information about Emma's progress.
